In a 1,000 m2 greenhouse we have recreated a tropical rainforest with a
great number of plants. This wide variety of plants in the greenhouse plays
an important role in maintaining the right conditions and a balanced
ecology.
Many plants (including some typical indoor plants) help recreate the
tropical ecosystem and are the rest places of butterflies and birds.
Other plants, provide flowers with great sources of nectar, where
butterflies go for feeding. Lantana, Pentas, Hibiscus and Asclepias are the
most valued.
Finally, another group of plants is used like food for caterpillars. Among
them are the Passionflower, the Banana plant, the Lemon tree and the
Asclepias.
